Ahhhh yes!!  time to pump of those flat road bike tires and hit the road.

We dodged the snow this time....(wahhhh) but the upsides the roads and even many of the trails are looking good!

Yeah yeah I know lots of you ride all winter...but hey I said "ROAD BIKE"

Yep...no excuses in the forecast next week (this weekend may be a different story)

But for the record...Here are my lame cold weather excuses:

a) windchapped face makes putting on 12 pounds of TV makeup painful and messy

b) lond sordid past of landing on my face in bike accidents  (bad habit for TV) so therefore a good excuse to avoid the icy season on skinny tires

c)  riding in the cold and then coming into the relatively warm studio makes me sleeeepy

Alrightly...that's it for my lame cold weather excuses...not that any of those are going to work in the warmer days ahead!

Sooooo...what's your excuse!!  ; )

Not to be condescending or anything but after looking through your photo album I noticed the name of your pets.

Where did you or the pet namer (possibly a child) get the idea of those anyways or is someone playing a joke by naming them that?

I remember when my little brother started learning words and we named a dog after what he said. But it was more simple than the Dr. Seuss mentality of the names your pets have.

Lollipop is a munchkin cat with very short legs. I named him Lollipop because he represents the Lollipop guild. So of course his new short-legged sidekick just HAD to be Popsicle. As for Lollipop Fluffer-Nutter...my GUY roommate in LA made that one up and it just stuck! The names really do suit them quite well. = )
