No really, will they or won't they?  The Minnesota Wild that is.  We're about to find out if they can step up as they head out on a crucial road trip.  Tilts again Vancouver (boo), Calgary and Colorado will provide a tough test, and a good read, on whether this team really will contend this year. 

At this point things don't look nearly as bright as the heady days during the first 20 games of the season.  Right now the Backstom is struggling to find that all-important focus, the defense is letting guys alone in front of the net, and the scoring seems to come in spurts, rather than in a consistent night-in night-out fashion.

So, will the real Minnesota Wild please step up.  No really, will you?
