Oh this movie was awful. Terrible, terrible, terrible. It was so out there and so idiotic I basically got the only laughs from the movie laughing AT the movie and Adam Sandler. This movie is trash.... so boring and idiotic... The week before I thought I had a new worst movie ever. This is replacing that. Adam, what the hell were you thinking getting into this mess? Some magazine gave this movie a C+ but it's a definite F-! The jokes were not funny (OK a few were), the plot was insanely stupid, the characters annoying and the fact that Zohan basically fools around with nothing but older ladies was a little sick if you ask me. And there's a cameo by the actress who plays Mrs. Garrett on Facts of Life, Charlotte Rae. Charlotte, why??? I thought you had better sense than to act in films like this. But don't worry I still am a fan. It wasn't even funny when John McEnroe was dancing shirtless at the Hacky Sack Championship (BLEEP???). John I am a fan still but even you had to feel stupid doing that.
Trust me this movie is a failure of epic proportions.
I really have to laugh at this latest American Idol "controversy". Apparently this show has a quota of 2-3 controversies per season. And this latest (non)-scandal involving that David Hernandez guy (hope I got his name right) is absolutely ridiculous. I seem to recall that while definitely not the most prestigious job in America, strip dancing is completely legal, so why a scandal? Firing him for not having done anything wrong is ludicrous as are suggestions supporting any punishment. Unless he has done some truly immoral, illegal, and terrible things that would bring bad publicity to the show, then keep him on. This whole 'american idol controversy' hysteria is so inane.
Now, after having said that, 'Idol' is one of my very favorite shows. And I always think that the auditions move way too fast (though they do devote like three or four weeks to them). Sometimes I have a stupid wish that they would just focus on that, but I will have to buy an 'Idol' compilation on DVD of worst performances, since they always give me a good laugh.
Relieved...

American Idol... I just can't get enough of the auditions which ended last night! My word, I literally was just laughing so hard at those imbeciles who thought that they were just "great" singers... I really wish there were more auditions left.... You know, I really wonder how some of the people are able to go on national television and embarrass themselves! If I were to do something like that, on national television, I would have to go into hiding but these goofs just do their own thing and it is hilarious.... There were a couple of touching moments in the auditions; I forget what town this was on but there was this woman whose mother was having health problems and she wanted to audition so badly. She really couldn't sing and obviously didn't advance, but I just felt so badly for her when she started to cry; it was nice to see the judges giving her a hug.
I have been able to watch a lot of the bad auditions on YouTube and there is this one guy who is 39 years old and bald and on top of that is a horrendous singer and it is just hilarious.

Check it out for yourselves! Idol rules.....
I have caught a few episodes of that new show following Fox News at 10:00, 'TMZ on TV' and quite honestly, I really don't like it. At all. Basically, all the show does every night is report on where stars go, what they do, what they're wearing, etc. etc. and it basically is a show of little substance.... Oh, and they also feature a lot of celebrity bashing (in particular, Britney Spears... not surprised about that one....). In my opinion, this show is just total sleaze.... I think shows like 'Entertainment Tonight' and 'Extra' are so much "better", if you will, than this TMZ mess.....
I just don't think I'll be watching another episode of this mess. IMO.
So Paris Hilton has to go to jail for 45 days! Finally, a celebrity has to face the consequences of his/her actions! How refreshing... As usual, Paris and her mother Kathy (whose reality show, I Wanna Be a Hilton failed miserably I might add...) ending up whining and moaning about the punishment and acting as if they were above the law!
Honestly, I quite expected Baby Paris to get yet another lame punishment such as paying a fine or whatever... because as we've seen time after time in the past, celebrities for the most part don't have to face the consequences of what they did (does the name O.J. Simpson ring a bell??) But this is quite refreshing....
According to an article on Yahoo's TV section (http://tv.yahoo.com/news/article/urn:newsml:tv.reut
ers.com:20070506:hilton_dc__ER:1;_ylt=AtAC2F6ZJ_lBFSzbo
jidPXaAo9EF), the drama queen is already at it with her whining! Get a load of this -
"I told the truth," Hilton told photographers waiting outside her Los Angeles home on Saturday night."I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted. I don't deserve this."
The only thing I have to say to that is 'Grow up, Paris!' First of all, you were treated fairly. If Martha Stewart can survive prison (with a longer term than yours I might add....), you can survive!
I am sure the entire world has heard about Alec Baldwin's abusive voicemail aimed at his daughter by now. Why in the world with a father call his own child a 'rude thoughtless pig' and other choice things? That is emotional abuse, and it just really disgusts me to be honest. Also, I do not believe for one minute that Kim Basinger would make that voicemail available to the public... it would be an absolutey disasterous move to make, it would maybe ruin what's left of her career and it would be just sick. However, like I said, I just don't feel Kim did that. Also, Alec's "apology" on 'The View' was a colossal joke - he only used that appearance to slander Kim and try to convince people he was sorry. I don't believe him at all whatsoever.
Baldwin and Basinger really need to grow up, to put it mildly. Both of them are well aware that they are celebrities and are in the public eye A LOT so I have no clue why would not even attempt to keep things as private as they could. Just when you think it's over, another incident happens like this voicemail.
I plan to boycott everything Alec Baldwin from now on; I didn't like him before this and now I strongly dislike him now! '30 Rock' was not the best sitcom on TV by far to begin, but I thought it was sort of funny. But I will never watch another episode as as that guy is part of the cast.
For some reason and I'm shocked too, Sanjaya has made the top ten on Idol and Stephanie went home last night (even more shocking - should not have happened!). So, now the predictable anti-Sanjaya sentiment will become even more popular ahead of next week.
I don't think he's the best singer of the group either; but hey, let's get some perspective here. The format of the show is the fans pick the winners. I'd like it for the judges to pick them but it's not gonna happen. So, having said that, some people out there want Sanjaya around (for some reason.... hopefully there are legitimate reasons). Sanjaya has played by the rules, has worked hard, hasn't cheated and/or been in controversies (outside of this one!) so give him a break. He's 17, I believe, and will get better as he gets older so give the kid a break. I also believe the people out there campaigning for Sanjaya to go should get a life. There are far, far more important causes to 'campaign' for than this, a TV show.
Having said all of this, I'm sick (almost) that Steph had to leave and that Chris Robinson was up there as well. With this logic, Melinda Doolittle will be voted out next and that would be a total outrage. The girl can sing and she's the best one up there. I just hope every Idol fan would vote for the singer that they think are best, not who others tell them to vote for.
