watching the news again pissed me off...Pits arent all bad

Why is it that the news only reports on stories of Pit Bulls attaching other dogs? there are many other dogs worse than that! I have two pit bulls that are sweeter than you could ever believe! Its not always the pit bulls that start it! maybe the other dogs are the one that started it! German Shepard's are just as "bad" if not worse, and they are police dogs!!! and you never show the stories of them. Why don't u show the stories of the pit bull that saved a babies life, or a family when their house was on fire!

HERE IS SOME STATS FOR YOU:
AVG # OF PEOPLE KILLED IN AMERICAN EACH YEAR BY:
CIGARETTES -440,000
AUTOMOBILES - 42,366
ND HAND SMOKE - 35,000
GUNS - 29,338
PIT BULLS - 3

Now tell me which one should be ban? it is basically racial profiling - BLACK, WHITE, ASIAN, PIT BULL, either way it is wrong!!! Trying to ban this breed is RACIEST & IGNORATE, next time, it will be your dogs breed that is ban. take time to LEARN about the breed before u judge them!
MY PIT BULL WILL DIE TO TO PROTECT ME, AND I WILL DIE TO PROTECT MY PIT BULL!

 DON'T BLAME A DOG, ITS HOW THEY ARE RAISED!!! BAN THE BAD OWNERS, NOT THE BREED!

Good point, and interesting stats, but now dim-evil, will never shut up, maybe he should whine, cry, and belly-ache about tobacco, and cars.

I loved your post on my blog! Thank you and let us pitbull owners stick together. If people like the crazy man who replied to my blog have anything to say about it, they will no longer be allowed to exist. It is unfortunate because lowlifes who buy and breed them for fighting, or protection are the ones who promote the stigma and stereotype of this breed. It angers me to no end and I am incredibly passionate about them!

Thank you again. Your dogs are beautiful. If you raise them with love, you get love in return! Just like with ANY breed of dogs.

Why my dear Signe, your comments as to our dark and angry soul warrants a bow. The picture was a special touch of mine, not my spouses. But we both readily enjoy it. But haste not, this blog is not about us, nor you my dearest. It's about an issue that concerns us all. You and I_luv_my_aggressive_mean_angry_untrusting_Pit Bulls love your dogs, and we do not enjoy your dogs under any circumstances.

Does it bother you? Why does it bother you so much that we both do not love your heathen breed as much as you do??????
Does it bother us? Yes, it bothers us because we fully comprehend what you think is fair "only to you", and not to others.
We have our own dogs. We, like you, have the unmeasurable love of both these dogs. They sleep with us at night, check on all the kids and even dote on the little children in the neighborhood, and travel with us extensively to wherever we go. They are good with our family and go with visitors.
They are trained to where we taking them hunting, but they are trained to stay by our sides when we ask them to. We bathe them, flush our their ears, trim their nails, and pick up their poo either here in our yard or at a dog park should they go. We've spent enormous amounts of money on vet bills, shots, tags, licenses, collars, leashes, etc, just as we're sure you've done the same for you two pit bulls. But ours are not Pit Bulls.

It's no concern as to whether or not we live in the dark ages, stone ages, age of Aquarius or Rock of Ages.

We love dogs. Do we hate some breeds? Yes, we do. Why does that matter to you? Are you telling me that you don't hate anything in this world? If you say you do not, you're an absolute two faced liar.

But we'll make you a promise. The day our dogs attack someone, anyone, that will be the day that we put them down. No if's, and's or but's about it. The day one or both or either of them growls at any of us here in this household for any reason, that will be the day that they are put down.

If that bothers you, then to bad. But that doesn't say that we don't love dogs. To say that, is an outright lie. So continue to post what you post, and we'll continue to post what we want. We simply want you to understand that we do not think inside either or your brains. That is whether or not you have anything active to think with.

Ahhhhh HA! CAT PEOPLE! I should have known the Midevils were cat people. They probably have a house full.

What Midevil doesn't understand and never will is that talking about our dogs in this manner is quite hurtful and it is a personal attack on the owners who ARE responsible, loving and own beautiful dogs who are part of the family. This is a little kids best friend your attacking, Midevil is the only pitbull I know that is evil and viscious.

No Spud, it was just us and your mother sitting here sipping a fine glass of wine while we type replies to your replies. Did you know that your mother has a mole right here above her...........well, we'll just keep that a secret. Cats are just the beginning of a killing streak for Pit Bulls.

Really? 3 killed but about 1,000 injured every year, I have two relatives that have them and although they have been pretty good dogs, one has ripped a friends face up pretty bad because he went into his truck to grab something and the dog was laying in there, and the other one ripped another guys Achilles tendon because he gave his buddy an butt slap while playing bags. It is just a matter of time before they snap. I agree, not all are bad, but there is no other breed with more attacks. Again, yes, only three deaths, but look at the injuries...

My Boyfriend and I have have to amazing Pitbulls. they have been raised around 17 nieces and nephews, and have NEVER ONCE done anything wrong. they are the most amazing and caring dogs i have ever had. He is in the Air Force and we would not have anything in our life be changed. ~give pits a chance~
