Anyone else finding it both curious and frustrating that this story was effectively dropped after 2 days?  No follow up on the health of the father, no news on the fact that 2 of the subhumans who posted bail have jumped bail in the past?  No parallel stories on the compelling reasons for 2nd amendment rights being upheld and why conceal laws are essential to stop this stuff?

I am very frustrated by the total silence from the black community who should be apologizing to the family.   If this had been a black victim the "urban leaders" would have been demanding justice immediately.

The duplicity exhibited by the local media in underreporting this hate crime followed by the near-censorship of ANY follow up stories on the health of the father is pathetic.  Does Fox News 9 really believe that they are not laughingstocks as a news organization?  These folks are amateurs in the truest sense in managing this story.

If there were ever a transformational year with Barack Obama being elected by liberal white folk it is this one.  The Valley Fair Incident is not over and will come back to haunt the liberal elite and our suddenly mute "urban leaders".  This is the kind of thing that polarizes a community when it is treated so prejudicially.  Nice going Newsnine.  You win the Animal Farm award for the month.

Regardless of the color of the victim, the black leaders should have been raising their voices to address the senselessness and disregard of human life of this crime. These leaders could use their power to send a message to members of all communities that these actions will not be tolerated!

Violence should never be tolerated. Why is the talk soo cheap?! if you can talk the talk, why not walk the walk? we all know that nothing is going to be done about it, so why even try? don't fight it, just let it happen.
Make your vote count, if you don't like it do something about it. Making an obvious statement, and complaining about it, but yet doing nothing about it is cowardly!
This tells me that it must not really be that much of an issue. But yet blog fodder!

First of all it's obvious that the two assailants were able to post they're bail because it was posted low. The reason for that would be that the judge didn't think that they posted much of a threat to place at a maximum to where the bail wouldn't be reached. The conceal and carry would have only made matters worse then what they already were. You have to ask yourself what would have happened if they were able to get the concealed weapon away from the victim? That most likely would have resulted in another homicide. It has nothing to do with the black community doing nothing about this situation, and the Urban Leaders having nothing to say. Have you ever thought that there's more to this story then meets the eye and unless you were involved or have some authority position you can believe your not going to receive all the (Juicy) details of this story. As far as Fox9 being the laughing stock for this story I think not you might be though, because to my understanding you don't even have all your details of the story up to date. Every time an African American commits a crime are you going to look at each one like they all do the same thing?? That's what polarizes the community when people tend to stereo-type every one. The Urban Leaders are not the swat team so you can't expect them to save the day every time something bad happens do your research a little better.
