The more that I consider this so-called economic stimulus package, the more I wonder what they're thinking of. The average citizen ( those making less then 75k a year ) will be using it to get caught up on past due bills, stock up on groceries, and generally getting even. Buying expensive toys, or even replacing certain items will be held off. Until someone gets smart, rescinds the NAFTA bill, and brings our jobs home. Try rewarding those companies that keep their jobs here with those tax cuts, thereby opening up jobs to our own citizens. Try considering rewarding companies that go green, as well as keeping the jobs here. Listen to the scientists, they are warning you of what is here already, as well as things to come. The citizenry is getting more and more educated, it's time we had a president that followed suit. Mr. Bush made it clear at his inauguration, that the whole country had to believe the way he did. We don't need this. We need a leader with the education to lead us in this new time, of technology, ecological change, and medical advances. We need to get out of the dark ages, and see what we've done to our environment, and ourselves. Yes, some if not most, of the advances are wonderful. But as in everything, in moderation. We've got to get up off our butts, step away from the video games, TVs, PCs, and move, move, shed some lard, intellectually as well as physically. We'd all feel better, think better, and live longer. Try not to be afraid of tomorrow, with the right leader, one that can see and accept reality, the future could be very bright.

I'm a older adult, who loves cats, and tolerates differences, just don't push them in my face. I'm into electronics, good books, music. Mainly Swing and classical and classic jazz, though I have been known to lend an ear to Elvis, and Buddy Holly:). I must admit that I'm an agnostic, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And I require proof. My main specialty is computer circuitry. Mostly building and inspecting it, now I'm having the fun of using it, and learning more every day. From staring through a 20 power scope at a microscopic unit, to blogging. How 'bout that.
