Ok, I filed my taxes for 2007, got my refund by direct deposit, there-fore, according to all the news reports, I should have gotten my rebate already. WHERE IS IT? And I'm not the only one. Now, I find out that those of us who get Social Security, as well as work part time, have to jump through more hoops to qualify. Now a so-called financial advisor says that it's our "duty" to spend what little we've got to boost the economy. BULL S*&T. I can barely afford to put enough gas in the car to get to the store to buy a ridiculously expensive carton of milk to make soup with. I'm not going to run out and buy a diamond ring or mink coat! Obviously, the only ones that have gotten the "stimulus" already are the rich. Not those that acually have worked all their lives. No, sitting in an office and giving orders is not working! Those of us listening to the orders, are the workers. You know, the ones that make the suggestions that you implement and take credit for. Oh, and by the way, I've looked, and can find nothing on what a super delegate is. Thanks for all the non-answers.

Well dear, obviously, since I got a decent refund, that's what I made. But also being a senior citizen, and collecting SS, puts me in the lowest income group. Meaning, we have to work at least part-time to make ends meet. And the low and no-income groups are those that actually could use that "rebate".

I'm a older adult, who loves cats, and tolerates differences, just don't push them in my face. I'm into electronics, good books, music. Mainly Swing and classical and classic jazz, though I have been known to lend an ear to Elvis, and Buddy Holly:). I must admit that I'm an agnostic, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And I require proof. My main specialty is computer circuitry. Mostly building and inspecting it, now I'm having the fun of using it, and learning more every day. From staring through a 20 power scope at a microscopic unit, to blogging. How 'bout that.
