This is the first real good storm I have seen in MN since living here and got some great pictures.  I am used to some real wicked sotrms from grownig up in IL(we got a lot) but this one had some of the neatest clouds I have ever seen when it started hitting Hastings. I sent in 3 pics of the storm rolling in.   Enjoy the pics there are pretty amazing.  I hope everyone stays safe this evening :)

Goodness, it has rained here a lot in the past few days, last week it was raining trash, bricks, and beer bottles from the Obama voters around the neighborhood going from door to door and camping in vacant houses, and today my duck pond has filled up. I love nature.

My boyfriend and I moved to Hastings from Coal City, IL last OCT. We both were in the Army (me for 6 yrs, he was in for 4) and loved every ounce of the time we served. I now cannot work due to injuries received in Iraq and am going back to school for a degree in criminal justice(I was a MP). My man works at the refinery on highway 52(the old Coke refinery). We love our new community and are looking forward to starting our married life togeather in the great state of MN.
