Everyday 4,500 children die due to unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation. Girls in developing countries spend much of their day collecting water for their families. Girls also stop going to school when they reach puberty due to lack of privacy and sanitation facilities. WE CAN TAKE ACTION AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
H20 for Life, a 501c3 foundation is providing global partners for schools in the United States to help schools in developing countries fund water projects in their schools to provide them with clean water, sanitation and hygiene.
U.S. schools have the opportunity to learn more about the global world water crisis, develop action plans in our schools and directly impact the lives of students around the world.
WEF, the World Environment Foundation is sponsoring a World Water Monitoring Program. They provide kits with experiments that can be used to collect and test water quality. These kits may be used in your school, and WEF will send kits to developing partner schools so that results may be shared. Each kit contains supplies for 50 experiments.

If your school is interested in a service learning project with a global partner, we can provide one for you!
We hope to hear from you!
